　　People can learn more from watching television than by reading books.

　　今天推送郑香香老师的写作范文，其清晰的逻辑值得所有备课同学的需学习和模仿。

　　First and foremost, people can access latest information through television, thus keeping abreast with the development of society.

　　段落解析：（引出主题句）电视节目能顾让人了解最新的信息，保持与时俱进；

　　Obviously, television serves to convey what is happening both at home and abroad through its programs, and this enables people to learn about updated information, such as scientific breakthroughs, sports events and political affairs.

　　段落解析：（解释原因）电视节目的实时性；

　　In contrast, books can do anything but broadcast information promptly, since it takes a relatively long period of time for people to record, edit and publish social events and make them appear in a book. 段落段落解析：（对比论证）书籍不能实时传递最新信息；

　　I will take an example of myself to illustrate this point. I used to be a fan of basketball. Once, during the finals of NBA, I chose to watch the games from the sports channel on live. as a big fan the games, I was capable of learning about results of games that I am specifically interested in right away. Ironically, a month later, I found a book covering the whole process of the finals that I had already known a month ago.

　　Needless to say, Compared with real time television programs, books pale with respect to delivering latest information.
