　　今天的托福口语推送托福口语Describe an important letter or poem or story you have written.参考答案

　　The letter that I think is the most important is the one I wrote to my mentor, Professor Si in my university. At that time, I was accepted as a graduate student majoring in Applied Linguistics. However, my department told me that they were lack of applied linguistics professors and asked me to change my major to Theoretical Linguistics and find my own mentor by myself. I knew that Professor Si is the head in Theoretical Linguistics, soI wrote her a letter, telling her my awkward situation. In the letter I also promised to study hard, and expressed my strong wishes to be her student. Because of the letter and thanks to the kindness of Professor Si, she finally accepted me as her student.
