　　Young people should take several different jobs beforetaking a career in a long term.

　　It takes quite a bit of time for college graduates to figure out what career fits them best. Job hopping in the first few years of their career pursuit is normal, even necessary.

　　段落解析：（引出主题句）：主题句不宜太长，所以分为两句话说明。大学毕业生需要一些时间去尝试不同的工作以了解什么职业最适合自己。就业前期频繁跳槽是正常的、甚至是有必要的。

　　An 18-year-old high school graduate is often too young to have an accurate judgment of his passion, potential, and above all, of the demand in the job market. It is no wonder that at least five out of ten students fail to specialize in the right subject that guarantees their career success. Unfortunately, fresh out of college, most of them are so much ingrained in the conventional wisdom of matching occupation to academic major. Students often feel their four years of college study are wasted when they fail to work in a position directly related to their area of study, so their first few jobs are usually closely associated with their major. After some time, only when they realize it does not work out will these youngsters be determined to abandon their original field of study and come to a more rational way of making career decision. Now old enough to have a careful consideration of one’s inner values, interests, skills, as well as one’s life pursuit, young people will start to grope around in the dark for the right career goal.

　　段落解析：（解释原因）好多高中毕业生都不清楚自己想要什么，对自己的兴趣和潜力也没有透彻的了解。这导致学生所选专业和就业市场不对口或者不是自己真正想攻读的，但毕业初期又理所当然地从事和专业相关的职业，后来才意识到是个错误。这才重新开始寻找正确的就业方向。

　　Observing the list of successful world leaders, we will find a large number of those who have gone through the same “evolution” in their career path. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the incumbent Iranian President, used to be an engineer and teacher from a poor background before going into politics. He went to the Iran University of Science and Technology in 1976 to study civil engineering. He even earned his PhD in transportation engineering in 1997. Margaret Thatcher, the former British Prime Minister, was as a research chemist and a barrister before entering politics. The Iron Lady was educated in Oxford University from 1943 to 1947 and was awarded a Chemistry Bachelor of Science degree upon graduation.

　　Frequent switch of jobs until they find the one that they are reasonably content to stick to for the rest of their lives is thus inevitable, even advocated.

　　段落解析：（用一句话概括段落的内容）再次强调为了能正确判断最适合自己的职业，频繁跳槽是不可避免的。
