托福口语一个月冲刺计划之第6天：这次的内容提供一个托福口语第四题的一个范本。

　　Short-term memory is part of the memory storage system that stores a small amount of information for about twenty seconds. In this lecture the professor utilizes generally two examples to illustrate the principle about short-term memory. In the first example, the professor says that if you want to make a phone call and doesn’t know the number, you may ask other people, but after a few hours, you may forget the number again. This is to show that a person’s short term memory can decay as time passes by. Moreover, when the professor wanted to buy some books, he knew he remembered all the names ofthe book. But after he ran into some friends, he totally forgot the names ofthe books. This is to show that the short-term memory can be interfered with because of other things.
