　　You know, you know, we started this great effort on a sunny July morning in Pinders Corner on pat and Liz Monahan's beautiful farm and 62 counties, 16 months, 3 debates, 2 opponents, and 6 black pantsuits later, because of you, here we are.

　　You came out and said that issues and ideals matter. Jobs matter, downstate and upstate. Health care matters, education matters, the environment matters, Social Security matters, a woman's right to choose matters. It all matters and I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you, New York!

　　Thank you for opening up your minds and your hearts, for seeing the possibility of what we could do together for our children and for our future here in this state and in our nation. I am profoundly grateful to all of you for giving me the chance to serve you.

　　And to those of you who did not support me, i want you to know that I will work in the senate for you and for all new Yorkers. And to those of you who worked so hard and never lost faith even in the toughest times, I offer you my undying gratitude.

　　Independence Day 独立日

　　President: Good morning. Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the Forth of July. And you will once again be fighting for our freedom. Not for tyranny, oppression or Persecution, but for annihilation. We’re fighting for our right to live, to exist, and should we win the day, the Forth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declare in one voice “We will not go quietly into the night. We

　　will not vanish without a fight. We’re going to live on. We’re going to survive.” Today we celebrate our Independence Day! 总统：早上好!早上好!不足一个小时后，这里的飞机将与世界各地的飞机会合。你们将要进行人类历史上最大规模的空战。人类这个词，今天赋予了我们全新的意义。大家不要因小的分歧而耗神，应为我们共同的利益而团结起来。也许命运安排，今天是7月4号，你们要再次为自由而战，不是为生存而战，为我们生存的权利而战。今天若能取胜，7月4号这一天，将不再仅仅看作是美国的独立纪念日，而是全世界用同一个声音宣布“我们不会束手无策，坐以待毙。我们将会活下去，我们将会生存”。今天，我们庆祝独立日!
