托福阅读如何进行精读训练

　　托福阅读是托福考试的第一个单项。相对于听力口语来说，对中国学生来说也是相对容易拿到高分的项目。但是是否你还徘徊在二十几分无法前进呢?今天我们就来聊聊如何通过精读文章来提高阅读的功底和分数。

　　在阅读当中，精读和泛读都是非常重要的。很多同学做了很多TPO，但是并没有及时的总结和精读。如果只是一味刷题，而不回头看都存在哪些问题，也不知道自己的问题究竟在哪，那读十篇文章，还不如读一篇文章十遍。那么，在托福考试中，应该如何精读呢?这里跟大家分享下精读的要点：

　　1、词：专门总结、整理出你文章中不认识的单词并记忆;我们天津新东方也配备了按照 tpo 文章总结的词汇书供大家使用。

　　2、句：用word文档或者是软件整理出文章中读不懂的句子，这是长难句的理解，提高你阅读速度很重要的一点;也可由授课老师指定长难句材料作为练习内容。

　　3、段：概括出这个段落大意。对于阅读，这是基本的能力素养;对于考试，这是做对多选题有很大的提示作用。

　　4、正确选项：分析正确选项为什么对，你要想明白，在原文中画出答案的依据，在比较选项，体会ETS是如何改写原文的;

　　5、错误选项：分析错误选项为什么错，你要想明白，并在word文档中标注选项错误的地方。

　　知其然，知其所以然，知其所以不然。

　　精读范例：如何分析正确选项和错误选项

　　Paragraph 4： It seems likely that Teotihuacán’snatural resources, along with the city elite’s ability to recognize theirpotential, gave the city a competitive edge over its neighbors. Thevalley, like many other places in Mexican and Guatemalan highlands, was rich inobsidian. The hard volcanic stone was a resource that had been in great demandfor many years, at least since the rise of the Olmecs (a people who flourishedbetween 1200 and 400 B.C.), and it apparently had a secure market. Moreover,recent research on obsidian tools found at Olmec sites has shown that some ofthe obsidian obtained by the Olmecs originated near Teotihuacán. Teotihuacánobsidian must have been recognized as a valuable commodity for many centuriesbefore the great city arose.

　　9. Which of thefollowing allowed Teotihuacán to have “a competitive edge over its neighbors”?

　　○A well-exploited and readily available commodity.

　　○ The presence of a highlystable elite class.

　　○ Knowledge deriveddirectly from the Olmecs about the art of tool making.

　　○ Scarce naturalresources in nearby areas such as those located in what are now the Guatemalanand Mexican highlands.

　　给你一分钟的时间，你选择哪个选项呢?

　　这道题不知同学们是否做过?首先理解A选项和原文是同义改写，再分析错误选项为什么错。这个题的正确选项就非常的隐晦，我们知道ETS要考原文某句话，很少照抄这句话。

　　原文：Teotihuacán’s natural resources,along with the city elite’s ability to recognize their potential.

　　答案：A well-exploited and readilyavailable commodity.

　　A well-exploited对应于the city elite’s ability torecognize their potential.

　　readily available对应于natural resources以及第二句解释的was rich in obsidian.

　　commodity在最后一句Teotihuacán obsidian must have beenrecognized as a valuable commodity.

　　再来看错误选项为什么错。

　　○ The presence of ahighly stable elite class.

　　出自这句话(和答案在同一句)：Teotihuacán’s naturalresources, along with the city elite’s ability to recognize their potential，但是大家可以发现并未提到a highly stable.

　　○ Knowledge deriveddirectly from the Olmecs about the art of tool making.

　　出自这句话：Moreover, recent research onobsidian tools found at Olmec sites has shown that some of the obsidianobtained by the Olmecs originated near Teotihuacán.

　　能够选到这个选项的同学是十分神奇的，甚至是神经的。原文有提到tools但并未提到the art of tool making.

　　○ Scarce naturalresources in nearby areas such as those located in what are now the Guatemalanand Mexican highlands.

　　出自这句话：The valley, like many other placesin Mexican and Guatemalan highlands, was rich in obsidian. 和原文相反，因为原文说was rich in obsidian.

　　这仅仅是个范例，希望同学们通过每日坚持做题分析，来取得理想的分数。
