　　托福口语范文一:

　　Well, frankly speaking, it really depends on the situation when it comes to the question of is it okay to make calls or sent text messages on a dinner table. Such behaviors can be excused if it is an emergency, like you are having dinner with a group of friends and someone called you saying that your family number got really sick, of course it is no problem to make the call. However, if you are just bored about your time with friends, I do not think making calls and sending text messages are polite, and it is not courteous at all, actually, socializing with friends on the dinner table and talking about the past can be great fun..

　　托福口语范文一:

　　I think it’s not cool to use cellphones on dinner tables. If you are having dinner with your friends just being with them instead of focusing on your phones, or your friend will feel less respected. For example, last Saturday when I was having dinner with one of my friends Chloe and she was keeping answering the phone and texting messages I felt so ignored and disrespected and not be willing to hang out with her any more. Also, people nowadays are always connected; we rarely get a chance to have a face-to-face conversation with friends and families. Dinner tables are the ideal place for us to talk with our loved ones.
