　　Task2 - When you study overseas, would you prefer to have roommate from your own country, or would you like to have foreign roommates?

　　托福口语范文：

　　Response tips:

　　Own country:

　　①similar living habits and customs: communication will be easier, roommates are more likely to support each other, might miss home less, adapt to foreign life quicker

　　②downside of foreign roommates: might have huge difference in culture, might won’t get enough help with English learning, roommates might party too much and influence normal living and rest

　　Foreign roommates:

　　①say you like meeting new people and have challenges: to explore foreign culture, to learn English faster or learn other languages, to build a wider social network

　　②downside of roommates coming from same country: lose chance to fully practice English, fell too relaxed and laid back... And based on experience for example Chinese roommates may end up playing computer games all the time and lose focus of overseas academic studying.
