　　Task2 –Some people think scientist can decide which field to research based on their own interest, while others think they should study the field that the public concerns the most. Please state your opinion and explain why?

　　托福口语范文一：

　　Sample

　　I believe scientists should devote themselves in doing research in the field attract most of the public concerns. To my point of view, as a scientist, the main responsibility is addressing the society’s need and facilitating people’s lives, especially those urgent aspects like medical care, living environment and investing new resources. For example, no one can deny that we’re facing ecological crisis since there are so many environmental problem threating our lives such as global warming, acid rain and ozone layer. Thus, scientist should do something to change the situation like investing clear resources that create little harmful carbon dioxide to the air to replace the traditional ones. With the help of them, we can better protect our planet and guarantee sustainable development.
