　　I disagree with the statement and I think whether people should retire depends on their own. For those who have been devoted to their career and still feel energetic and passionate towards their career, even though they turn to 65 years old, can still be given chances to do what they love. Take Mike, a current colleague, as an example. Though he is older than 65years ago and retired from his previous company, he still chooses to be hired again as an English teacher since he cannot stop sharing his life experience and knowledge with others. Besides, for those who have already felt tired after working many years should also be given a choice to live a life they wish, like staying at home or traveling across the country or just accompanying their grandchildren.(新东方 周徐敏)

　　I think that would be good. Many 60-year-olds are still physically strong.

　　For people like civil servants, who have comfortable jobs or are in power, it is the later the better.

　　Statistically, "actual dependency ratio"(实际赡养比)will be five to one in 2020. By 2020, we will become a seriously aged country. It will lead to a series of social problems and directly threaten our goal of having a prosperous society in 2020.

　　I think there are pros and cons. The positive side is that middle-aged and elderly professionals can continue to make contributions to society. The negative side is that young people may have difficulty finding jobs.In an aging society, the number of elderly people is growing. If we push back retirement by another five years, young people will have fewer and fewer opportunities.

　　Well, I agree that people should retire after 65 due to the following reasons.

　　First of all, age is irrelevant to a working life, people become old does not necessarily mean they are going to be sick. In fact, many old employees are still physically strong. So they can still work as well as before. Besides, in our aging society, in order to support more and more retired and old people,it is a tendency to require people to continue working for more years. Last but not least ,older employees have a great deal of knowledge and experience which can be a loss to a business or organization if they are made to retire earlier.
