Sub-point 1 分论点1Global warming causes the rise of temperature. Overheating leads to the death of Pikas.The temperature varies when it comes to their habitats. Pitas will find some sheltered places, which are much cooler. Therefore, the population will remain stable.
Sub-point2 分论点2They will not collect and store enough food.If the temperature is high, Pikas eat and consume less food. More food can be stored for later use.
Sub-point 3 分论点3Pikas uses thick layer of snow to protect themselves. However, because of global warming, snow melts at a faster rate.Snow melting means the winter will end soon. They have more opportunities to reproduce. Thus the number of pikas will recover.

　　The writer and the speaker have a debate on an animal called Pikas. The writer claims that Global warming will make the Pikas endangered, which is opposed by the following lecture.

　　First, the writer claims that global warming causes the rise of temperature. Overheating leads to the death of Pikas. While the speaker views this issue from an opposite angle, according to him/her, the temperature varies when it comes to their habitats. Pitas will find some sheltered places, which are much cooler. Therefore, the population will remain stable.

　　Secondly, the passage states that They will not collect and store enough food. However, the speaker casts doubt on this opinion by saying that If the temperature is high, Pikas eat and consume less food. More food can be stored for later use.

　　Last, the writer argues that Pikas uses thick layer of snow to protect themselves. However, because of global warming, snow melts at a faster rate. By contrast, in accordance with the speaker, this claim does not hold water. Snow melting means the winter will end soon. They have more opportunities to reproduce. Thus the number of pikas will recover.
