　　Grasping green hill with a tight bite,

　　Deepening the roots in broken rocks where they grow,

　　Standing firm despite plight and blight,

　　Ignoring any winds, wherever they blow.

　　咬定青山不放松，

　　立根原在破岩中。

　　千磨万击还坚劲，

　　任尔东西南北风。

　　plight 解释为 “困境”，如 the country's economic plight (国家的经济困境)，同义词为“hardship"; blight 解释为 “枯萎”，引申为“困境”，如 the blight of poverty (贫穷的不幸)

　　在英语中，and 结构 连接两个同义词的现象非常普遍：

　　Children in the modern age are able to grow up in harmony and joyfulness.

　　Significant improvements and long-term prosperity follow upon the economic “bottle necks”.

　　For older school children, many zoos conduct a one-day trip that focuses on different aspects of animal biology, the importance of protecting animals, and the human impacts on animal life.
