　　新托福口语Task 2题目:In group discussion, some students prefer to speak immediately, while some students prefer to wait until others give their opinions. Which one do you prefer and why?

　　考题解析

　　经典Task2 Paired-choice Preference个人喜好倾向性观点阐述类题目，只需阐明观点同意与否，并给出合理解释即可。此题无论同意与否, 只要给出合理的解释即可，可采用推理与事实论证的方法进行细节扩充。

　　参考答题思路：

　　1、Show opinions immediately:

　　SD理由：

　　①It’s easier to let others clearly understand what I am thinking about since speaking first shows initiative;

　　② First speech can lead the discussion and can be easier to let others follow my mentality;

　　2、wait until others express their opinions

　　SD理由:

　　① It can help to better my opinions when listening to others ‘firstsince I can learn from their opinions;

　　②It’s a way to show respect to others;

　　③It’s easier to find out opponent’s problem and kick them off in the debate/ discussion;

　　④Know yourself and know your enemy, you will win every war. (知己知彼，百战不殆)

　　难度分析及注意事项

　　此题是有关小组讨论发言权先后顺序讨论的个人观点阐述类话题，题目难度比较适中， 一般会用到的方法就是对比法、举例法、推理解释法。注意此题须要学会用比较法并适当时举例子解释。需注意的是，此题与TPO部分题目相类似，需引起足够的重视!

　　难度：适中

　　新托福口语Task 2参考范文一:

　　I will choose to wait in group-discussions.First, I think it is the rule of basic politeness, if everyone were so eager and impatient to air out his or her opinion from the very beginning; group discussions would simply be impossible. Second, only when you listen and understand others stance, can your opinion be more convincing and acceptable; also in listening to others' remarks, we can have the chance to observe and learn, to see the topic from another perspective, which could be thought-provoking.（新东方 鲁妍钰）

　　我会选择等一等再发表我的观点，首选，这是基本的礼貌规则，如果每个人都如此不耐心，急于从一开始，就发表自己的观点，集体讨论是不可能的。第二，只有当你仔细的去听和理解他人的立场，你的观点才会更加有说服力和容易被接受; 并且，在听别人发表意见时，我们可以有机会去观察和学习，去从另外一个角度审视讨论的话题，这会给你很多启发。

　　新托福口语Task 2参考答案二:

　　I prefer to wait until others give their opinions. I used to speak out immediately after a question was raised and left other people no time to think or respond, and I was proud of myself for being such a quick thinker. However, it was a disrespect to other people and my points of view were irrational most of the time. Now I realized the mistakes I have made and learnt to wait patiently and hear other people out. In this way, I could have a more comprehensive view over the topic that we discuss and most importantly, I show respect to my friends and group members. That's why I prefer to wait.

　　新托福口语Task 2参考答案三:

　　I prefer to speak immediately when I am in a group discussion. Because, first, you can develop your leadership by being the first one of giving opinions. I can lead my group member to discuss from the angle that I am interested in. That will increase the group’s efficiency. For example, last week, in a math course, we were discussing a complex geometrical problem, and I happened to be good at that. So I gave my ideas first, and my group members are solving this problem in my way. In this process, I practiced the skill of influencing and persuading others. Also I learned how to support my group members to deal with their tasks. As a result, we were the first group of getting the correct answer.
