　　As time has gone by, Americans have increasingly paid more attention to the schooling process,trying harder all the time to get the best education possible for their children. As a result, more parents are turning from the public school systems to the private schools. This happens for several reasons. First, students that graduate from private schools tend to be better prepared for college.

　　Second, private schools open up many opportunities to succeed in the business world. Last, private schools allow parents and students to decide which school will give students the best education. Overall, private schools offer a better education for high school students than public schools.

　　2 社区学校的种种优势

　　段落大意：教育被全社会都认为是很重要的事业。在社区建立学校，方便家长，便于学生交流。

　　Many people in today’s society believe it’s wise to send their children to private schools. In making the decision on whether to put children in public or private schools, they look to four main factors: curriculum, class size, the graduation rate, and cost. When people have to pay for something, their first thought is, “Will I be getting what I’m paying for?” With a private school education, the amount you have to pay is usually well worth it. Here students can find people who are just like them and can associate better.
