　　If your friend takes a job working late in the night to earn money for a summer trip to Spain, but he goes to bed late and cannot concentrate on the class next day, what advice would you give him?

　　考题解析

　　这是Task1中经典的Free-choice抽象物品题，只需给出合理解释即可。

　　Task1是问题解决(提建议)类型的题目，晚上要兼职赚钱影响白天学习，怎么办。建议：可以把兼职工作放到周末去，这样可以晚上流出更多的时间来上课(I will suggest that he take a parttime job at weekend so that the job will not take up the night time and interfere with his study and rest);或者更改旅行地点，去相对较近的地方，这样可以减少花费也就减少了兼职的工作时间。(or he could go to somewhere close to our country so that he can cut down the travelling expense and thus cut down the hours of the job)

　　①He can quit the job and pay more attention to academic courses, cuz he still has opportunities to ace the test and win scholarship to cover travel fee and living cost.

　　②He can change a new job that doesn’t need to work overtime.

　　新托福口语范文：

　　I would like to give him two solutions.

　　The first one is to reduce his workinghours because as a student the main goal is study. I think he should talk tothe manager for shorter working time to guarantee at least 7 to 8 hours sleepper day. 8 hours’ sleep is a must for high efficiency study.

　　The second one is to practice meditatingwhich is a perfect way to help improve the quality of sleep. I recommend him toclear his mind by meditating 15-20 minutes before he hits the sack. Mediationhelps reduce stress and may even reduce cortisol levels.

　　此题考察开放类题目中有关建议的题型，注意此题是跟TPO题目相似。
