托福写作过渡词使用方法

　　在托福作文中，大家也需要使用到一些过渡词，更好地衔接上下文的意思。那么具体的这些过渡词都有哪些，使用方法是什么呢?新东方在线托福网为大家整理了相关的内容，供大家参考。

　　比如：To begin with 首先

　　这个可以这么用：To begin with, smoking should be banned in public areas."首先，公共场所禁止吸烟。"

　　再看这个：First of all 第一，首先

　　运用：First of all, many people in remote areas still live in poverty."第一，居住在边远地区的许多人仍生活在贫困之中。"

　　还有：With (the development/progress/growth)of(economy/society)...随着(经济、社会)的(发展、进步、增长)...

　　运用：With the development of society, women’s role has become more important than ever before in daily life."随着社会的发展，妇女在社会生活中比以往发挥着更加重要的作用。"

　　再来看过渡词的逻辑体现：

　　说明文中：Recently, ____________ 描述现象, 引起话题;It is true that ____________. 对于现象作出评论;There are many reasons explaining _______. 承上启下，解释这一现象的原因;The main reason is ________. 说明原因一;As a result, _________. 讲述导致的结果;Considering all these, __________. 作者的态度;For one thing, _________. 观点一。当然这只是一部分，举例出来是让大家有一个更直观的感受说明文的逻辑。

　　议论文;There is a heated debate over _______.And different people offer different ideas.

　　观点论证： The truth of it is self-evident. 强调观点;Many examples can be found to prove ____. 提出事实，论证观点;It goes without saying that __________. 该相关的日常生活中的体现;In conclusion, ____________. 总结全文。

　　比较类：unlike...与……不同

　　例句：Unlike oral English, written English is comparatively formal."与口头英语不同，笔头英语比较正规。"

　　On the other hand...另一方面

　　例句：The life expectancy in developing countries has increased during the past thirty years. On the other hand, the infant mortality has decreased from twenty percent to ten percent in the same period."发展中国家的期望寿命在过去的30年间都增长了。另一方面婴儿死亡率同期由20%下降到10%。"

　　写完文章，也是有一些过渡词的用法：

　　比如：In conclusion最后，在结束时

　　运用：In conclusion, the international agreement should be made to prevent the world from war."最后，应达成国际协定使世界避免战争。"

　　再看这个：In a word 总之

　　运用：In a word, without mutual understanding, true friendship does not exist."总之，没有相互理解，真正的友谊是不存在的。"

　　还有这个：It is only when...that...只有当……才……

　　运用：It is only when people become the masters of the country that science can serve the people."只有当人民成为国家的主人，科学才能为人民服务。"
