Watching movies could be an effective way to escape from daily burdens temporarily and enjoy a moment of leisure and fun. Thus, this means of recreation is popular among the masses. Some viewers prefer to see a movie in the cinema. Others insist that it is a better choice to see a movie at home. As far as I am concerned, it could be more advantageous to go to the cinema.

Above all, the cinema is capable of creating the best atmosphere for the audience to enjoy a movie. A familiar scene would come into people's mind whenever the cinema is mentioned: comfortably seated before the wide silver screen, the audiences are experiencing the vivid visual effects and the amazing sound effects produced by the advanced equipment installed in the cinema. Needless to s ay, motion pictures seen at home could never match the exceptionally high quality of those shown in the cinema. Ever since the emergence of the IMAX and 3D technology, an increasing number of movie fans have made the cinema their first choice. Concrete evidence could be found inAvatar, a prestigious and bestselling 3D film which is noted for its marvelous visual and sound effects. Only by entering the IMAX cinema could the real charms of this movie be fully appreciated.

In addition, viewers will be given the opportunity to see the newest movies in the cinema. Actually, the most recently-produced ones could only be found in cinemas. It is impossible for people to download or buy the DVD versions. Passionate fans are mostly willing to pay for the tickets in order to enjoy them at the earliest time. If they are lucky enough, they could also obtain the admissions to the premieres of certain famous productions. On such occasions, their favorite directors and actors will be present in the cinema. This definitely constitutes a unique superiority that cinemas possess.

Last but not least, watching movies at the cinema also h e lp s curb piracy. Suppose more and more audiences choose to go to the cinema, the number of people buying the pirated DVDs might be reduced to a large extent. This could definitely contribute to the struggle against the rampant piracy in the recreation industry. As a matter offact, piracy not only causes heavy losses to movie producers, but also harms the basic interests of the masses in the long run. As a result, in spite of the diversified means of creation nowadays, few people could resist the attractions from the cinema. Movies are destined to provide the greatest enjoyment for the audience.
