Today job hunters are granted richer opportunities to select their most suitable careers. Different andidates may have their unique orientations. Some people would prefer to take more secure jobs regardless of low salaries, while others are searching for higher-paid jobs that might be easy to lose. From my own standpoint, accepting a more competitive job offer should be a better choice for ambitious and capable individuals, even though it is difficult to keep the position.

Above all, anyone with real abilities deserves a financially rewarding job. Pursuing a high salary might be the primary intention of most ambitious job seekers. Although the level of pay is not the sole determinant of a good job, it demonstrates the acknowledgement of one's values. Meanwhile a better pay also ensures a higher living standard and a stronger purchasing power. These concerns are extremely realistic but of essential significance to impact a person's career prospects.

Factually, there is no need to worry about losing a jobas long as one is competent enough. Today's world is full of opportunities for all. In the market-based economy, human resource flows are actually a positive phenomenon that signalizes a vigorous and prosperous economic environment. Losing a job is not as horrible as it appears to be. On the contrary, it might bring about a more desirable job offer. The precious working experience accumulated in the last position might also prove useful when the new chance arrives. Accordingly, richer experience could be gained and abilities might be improved as well.

However, many other important factors should also be taken into account before landing a job. For instance, it is a must to select one that could best suit one's preference and major. Working in a position that one dislikes or has nothing to do with his field of studies will turn out to be nightmare.Hence, job orientation should be a topconcern. What's more important, the job applicant also has to investigate detailed conditions of the company, including the potential of its future development, the managing styles of the leaders, the level of working environment, as well as the promotion opportunities.
