Successful people are those who never stop being opento new challenges. The risk-taking quality can be found inevery notable individual. Instead of being obsessed withpast glories, they all possess a far-reaching outlook abouttheir future. Let bygones be bygones. The way ahead isbrand new and unpredictable. Accordingly, only throughcontinuous efforts and the courage to conquer moreobstacles can success be held onto forever.

First and foremost, to ensure sustainable success, it is amust to continually accept new things. The whole world is inperpetual motion, thus, adapting to change is a fundamentalrequirement for anyone who dreams of brilliantaccomplishments. If a person stagnates instead of movingahead, he will certainly lag behind in his social development.We can find evidence of this in the sports arena. It is theambition of many players to break a current record.However, after breaking the record, in order to keep up thepace one has to face more new challenges from others.Needless to say, only those who continue to make newbreakthroughs are able to keep their success fresh and time-tested.

Secondly, there is no royal road to success. Thewillingness to take risks paves the way for people to reachthe success summit. Chances only favor those who haveprepared their minds. A life without risk is not worth livingbecause that is where the true meaning of life lies. Indeed,life in itself is an adventure. The past is gone and is nowonly a cherished memory, whereas the future is always freshand filled with endless revelations. Getting ready for anynew changes or for taking a risk is the only way to gainbigger victories in the days to come. In fact, success is inthe actual process of facing and overcoming challenges. Inother words, if no risks are taken, there will be no gain. Afterall, Rome was not built in a day. The endeavor towardsuccess is both time-consuming and painstaking.

Thirdly, it is unwise to feel overly proud and contentwith the past achievements. Looking back on my childhood,I can still recall a famous cartoon film, telling the story abouta proud general during the war in ancient times. As thevictor of a significant battle, he received extremely highprestige and numerous rewards. From then on, he began toindulge himself in thinking about his past glory and stoppedpracticing kongfu. He refused to study new warringstrategies and as time went by, he became overweight andhis former skills faded. Later new conflicts arose but thistime his army was defeated by the stronger troops. Similarstories can be traced throughout human history.

In a sense, successful people are fearless pioneers withstrong willpower. This allows them to assimilate newexperiences and embrace change. Putting too much focus on"the good old days" can make a person lag behind in thefast pace of social development. Under no circumstancesshould a person give up their determination for meeting allthe new challenges ahead. After all, success is neither easilygained nor easily kept.

首先，为了确保成功的持久性，就必须不断接受新鲜事物。整个世界都处在持续运动中，因此，适应变化是对任何渴望取得光辉成就的人的基本要求之一。如果一个人停滞不前，他/她必定会在社会发展的潮流中落后。我们可以在体育界寻求证实。破纪录是很多运动员的梦想。然而，在打破一项纪录之后，为了将其保持下去，破纪录者必须应对来自他人更新的挑战。不必说，只有那些持续拥有新突破的人才能使自己的成功保鲜且经得住时间的考验。

其次，成功之路无坦途。冒险精神为人们抵达成功的顶峰铺路。机会只属于那些有准备的人。若没有冒险，人生就会虚度，因为那是生命真正的意义所在。的确，人生本身就是一次冒险。过去已经过去，对于现在而言过去仅仅是珍贵的记忆;而未来永远是崭新且充满无数未知的。为新变化或冒险作好准备是在未来获得更大成功的唯一途径。其实，成功就体现在面对与克服挑战的实际过程当中。也就是说，如果没有冒险，就没有收获。毕竟，罗马不是一日建成的。通往成功的拼搏之路是耗费时间且无比艰难的。

第三，为自己过去的成就感到过度骄傲与自满是不明智的。回首童年，我仍然记得一部著名动画片，它讲述了古代战争时期一名骄傲将军的故事。作为一次重要战役的胜利者，他获得了极高的荣誉和无数的奖赏。从那以后，他开始沉迷于自己过去的辉煌，停止了苦练功夫并拒绝学习先进的战术。随着时间的流逝，这位将军变得过于肥胖，曾经的一身武艺也随之消退。新的战争开始时，他的军队被强者击败了。在人类历史上，类似的故事举不胜举。

在某种意义上，成功者是拥有坚强意志的无畏先锋。这使他们能够吸收新经验并接受变化。过于注重“美好的过去”会使一个人落后于社会发展的飞快脚步。在任何情况下都不能放弃面对未来新挑战的决心。毕竟，成功既不易获得也不易保持。
