　　Attending live events or performances has become a popular trend for many audiences and among an event's passionate fans. In spite of expensive entrance tickets,many are willing to immerse themselves in the atmosphere in person. They regard this as an enjoyable experience. Frankly speaking, I do not agree with them: watching the same events on TVis a better choice.

　　First of all, a large crowd present at an event makes the environment too noisy to bear. I once attended a live concert held by a famous singer in a city stadium. A group of fans who travelled all the way from another city was seated right behind me. They appeared to be so crazy about their idol that whenever this star began to sing, they went all out to scream out his name, and became excited to tears.Thus, other members of the audience and I were unable to hear a word. Our ears were also suffering from other noises around us. Since then, I have not been to any live performances. By contrast, the environment at home is muchmore peaceful and comfortable. With a cup of tea in my hand, I can enjoy the performance on TV to my heart's content.

　　In addition to potential unbearable noise, attendance at live events presents other problems. Long distances between the audience and the stage also prevent most people from seeing a performance clearly. Needless to say,not everyone is lucky enough to sit in front-rowseats. Most of these best positions have been reserved by wealthy people in advance. Take the football match for example: due to the large size of the pitch, it is impossible for most fans seated in upper seats to see the players and action clearly.Such a problemnever occurs if one watches a broadcast of a match on television. Video cameras are able to record every important detail during the match, including the facial expressions of the players. In the meantime, sports commentators also help audiences fully understand and enjoy the match.

　　Moreover, open-air stadiums may present unexpected weather conditions. In severe cases, performances or sporting events may have to be canceled or delayed. Thus,an audience may have wasted time traveling, or may choose to stay and endure adverse weather. As for those who leave,a strong sense of regret might negatively affect them,because they have been unable to enjoy the event. Without doubt, these types of occurrences are unable to severely affect audiences comfortably seated before their televisions.

　　In sum, even though the atmosphere of live events can fill audiences with excitement, not everyone is used to the accompanying noise. What's worse, distracted by a huge crowd of noisy fans, it is impossible to enjoy the performances with concentrated attention. Therefore,considering all the unfavorable points in attending live events, I would rather stay at home and watch them on television.

　　观看现场比赛或演出已经成为众多观众和狂热爱好者追赶的潮流。尽管票价昂贵，很多人还是愿意亲身感受现场气氛，他们认为这种经历是令人愉快的。坦率地讲，我并不赞同。我认为，在电视上看直播是更好的选择。

　　首先，大群观众的出席使现场四周的噪音难以忍受。我曾经去市体育馆参加了一次某著名歌星的现场演唱会。一群从其他城市赶来的歌迷正好坐在我后面。他们似乎对偶像非常疯狂，每当歌星开口唱歌，他们就拼命尖叫出他的名字，并激动地泪流满面。包括我在内的其他观众根本听不到一句歌手的演唱。我们的耳朵还经受着周围其他噪音的折磨。从那时起，我再也没有观看过现场演出了。相比之下，家中的环境更安静、更舒适。手捧一杯清茶，我可以尽情地欣赏电视直播。

　　除了可能令人无法忍受的噪音，观看现场演出还存在其他问题。观众与舞台距离很远，这使大部分人无法看清楚表演。不必说，并非所有人都能幸运地坐在前排。大部分最佳位置已经提前被富人们预订一空了。以足球比赛为例，由于足球场的庞大，大多数坐在上方的球迷不可能清楚地看到球员和他们的动作。如果看电视直播的话，这个问题就不会出现。摄像机能够记录比赛过程中的每一个重要细节，包括队员的面部表情。与此同时，体育解说员也能帮助观众全面地理解和欣赏比赛。

　　此外，露天体育馆可能遭遇意外天气状况。严重时，表演或体育比赛就得被取消或推迟。于是，观众可能白白浪费了来回奔波的时间，也可能留在原地承受极端天气。对于那些中途离开的人来说，一种强烈的后悔情绪油然而生，因为他们未能完整地欣赏演出。毫无疑问，此类状况不会严重影响那些舒适地坐在电视机前的观众。

　　总之，尽管现场赛事使观众激动兴奋，然而并非每个人都能适应伴随的噪音。更糟糕的是，由于嘈杂呼喊声的干扰，人们无法集中注意力欣赏演出。因此，考虑到上述所有观看现场表演的缺点，我宁可在家里看电视直播。
