When you have a disagreement with your friends, do you prefer to talk it out face to face, or send an email or a text message to solve it?

托福独立口语参考答案

Well, if I have a disagreement with my friends, I prefer to communicate with them in person.

Because when I’m face to face, I can see and respond to my friend’s reactions, like facial expressions and their tone of voice. Non-verbal information can tell me how they are feeling about what I’m talking about. So I can better understand where they stand.

Besides, I can get the feedback and response right away in face-to face conversation. After I express my opinion, I know they will share their thoughts and views, so I don't have to wait for hours for a reply like sending them an email. So because of these two reasons I would like to solve disagreement in person.
