Some people prefer to spend their free time with their family or friends. Others prefer to spend their free time alone. Which do you prefer and why?

托福独立口语参考答案

I prefer to spend my free time with friends or family.

First, I can get relaxed. You know, I’m overwhelmed with assignments and classes and other stuff every day, which means I rarely have the chance to talk to my friends or family. So, if I have some free time, I would definitely choose to hang out with them like in the coffee house. This helps me become more refreshed afterwards.

Second，I think it’s gonna be more fun when I spend time with them. Cause there are more activities we can do, like group sports or board games. Instead, if I spend time all by myself, I’ll probably end up scrolling on my cellphone or browsing social networking websites.
