When people go shopping, some prefer to bargain with the sellers, while others just buy the product at a fixed price. Which do you prefer?

托福独立口语参考答案

I choose to buy the product at a fixed price. That's because I don’t feel really comfortable to argue with a stranger in the public. Also, I'm not a person who is good at negotiating, you know, my voice may get higher and I may get angry unconsciously during this whole argument and other people gonna look at me, and that will make me so embarrassed and awkward. Plus, bargaining is also a waste of time, because even though you bargain with sellers for hours, and it probably won't make any difference, just a few bucks lower, so it is just simply not worth it.
