托福口语常用词汇

新东方在线托福整理了2024年托福口语题型介绍、评分标准、万能理由和作答模板等内容，今天带来的是托福口语常用词汇，希望对刚开始接触托福考试的小伙伴有所帮助！

1. 托福口语词汇如何包装

1. 实词 (名词，动词，数字，形容词，副词)

在回答中增加名词，动词和数字，可以使答案内容更加具体，形容词和副词的包装作用可以将抽象的话语具体化，增加答题的细节。

比如这句话，孩子应该保证充足的睡眠来更好地学习。Instead of study all the time, the kid should get enough sleep to study better.

原句修改过后，Instead of being a study machine 24/7, the kid should always get enough sleep and rest since studying when the kid is sleepy is ineffective.

这句话中增加了study machine, sleepy 和ineffective等形容词，always副词，以及24/7的数词。两句话整体表达的意思是一样的，但是后者听上去就会更具体，更有说服力。

2. 虚词 (助词，语气词)

助动词包括be动词(am, is, are, was, were)、不同时态的助动词(shall, will, have, has)，以及情态动词(can, may, must, should, could..)等，在句子中是不可缺少的，同学们在使用时要注意根据时态，语态，语气合理应用。

语气词像是well, you know..., like..., I mean等这些口语化的词汇，在回答中可以低频使用，为下一句话做缓冲。比如在TPO6中有一个非常好的缓冲情景是这样的：So I started reading the chapter, you know, about how everyone speaks some dialect of the language. 由此我们也可以看出，适当的使用语气词，可以保证说话的流畅，避免出现不自然的卡顿。

3. 连接词

学会使用连接词，可以帮助我们流畅的过渡到下一个想法，也能让你喘息几秒去思考下一步该说些什么。通过这种方式，你的答案听起来会更自然、有逻辑，也符合口语的评分标准。常见的连接词包括这些：

选择关系或对等关系：either…or…，neither…nor, or, as well as…, and, both…and…

因果关系或对等关系：therefore, so, as a result, as the result of …，because of, due to …,owing to, thanks to

时间顺序：the moment, as soon as, at first, then, later, meanwhyle, at the beginning, in the end, before long, for the first(second…)time, the minute

转折关系：yet, and yet, but , while, on the contrary, on the other hand, however, at the same time

解释说明：that is, that is to say, in other words, such as, for instance, and so on, etc. and the like

递进关系：not only…but (also), what's more, what's worse, besides, in addition, worse still, moreover, above all

表示总结：in a word, on the whole, in short, briefly, in brief, to sum up, in all
