托福写作新题型机经试题

Doctor Diaz:This week, we'll be exploring the dynamics of entrepreneurship, particularly focusing on whether entrepreneurs should collaborate with family members when starting a business or if it's preferable to avoid such partnerships. Many entrepreneurs face this dilemma due to the potential benefits of trust and shared vision with family, but also the risks of conflicts and business complications. What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe it's best for entrepreneurs to start a business with family members?

Kelly:I don't think it's a good idea for entrepreneurs to go into business with family members. While you may have trust and share the same vision, family members tend to think too much alike. This limits new perspectives and innovation. There's also a higher risk of conflicts and messy situations arising between relatives that could hurt the business.

Andrew: Working together with family members can really strengthen the family bond and shared goals. My uncle and cousins started a restaurant, and seeing them collaborate with that level of trust and commitment is inspiring. Though conflicts may arise, if you can resolve them, it'll make the family ties even stronger in the end.

Entrepreneurs embarking on the treacherous journey of starting a business would be wise to consider collaborating with family members. The bond and trust already established within a familial relationship can serve as a solid foundation for a successful business partnership. Research has shown that family-owned businesses tend to outperform non-family businesses in terms of longevity and stability. The Harvard Business Review reported that family businesses are more likely to survive economic downturns and market fluctuations due to the inherent loyalty and commitment among family members. One prominent example of a successful family collaboration in business is the Walton family, who founded and grew the retail giant Walmart. The close-knit ties and shared values among the Walton family members played a crucial role in the exponential growth of their business empire. While there may be challenges and conflicts that arise in any business partnership, the benefits of collaborating with family members outweigh the potential drawbacks. By leveraging the strength of familial bonds, entrepreneurs can build a resilient and sustainable business that withstands the test of time. In conclusion, entrepreneurs should consider involving family members in their business ventures to capitalize on the unique advantages that come with familial collaboration.
