　　Talk about a special opportunity that was given to you.Explain why the opportunity was important.

　　答题思路分析：

　　首先，大家可以确定自己得到的机会有哪些，这个机会可以涉及到物质和精神方面，无论选择哪一个，大家都要写出这个机会对你而言为什么这么重要，你觉得这个机会到底从哪方面来看如此珍贵。比如，你得到了一个出国留学的机会，首先因为你曾经在一些媒体中看到过外国的文化，其次因为有了这个机会你可以和来自世界各地的人们交流，而且学习到不同的文化。

　　那么这些该怎样用英语来表达呢?

　　1.Going aboard to study or visit

　　2.Experiencing the culture first hand

　　3.Movies, music or TV shows

　　4.Learn from, and work with the best

　　5.Professors, students

　　6.Meeting people from all over the world

　　7.Talk with them, learn about their life and story

　　A special opportunity that was given to me was that I got thechance to go to America to study. I’m super excited about it because I’m a big fan of American culture. I watch a lot of Hollywood movies here in China. For example, Forest Gump and Devil Wears Prada. I can’t wait to go live there and experience American culture first hand. Second, Students can find the best professors in the world in America. They are the most experienced group of scholars a student can learn from. Also,America has a diverse culture, I’m sure I can meet people fromall over the world there.

　　Some people regard opportunity as the most important part of their life. It's the way to success. So when they see their friends succeed, they will complain that they are not lucky enough to have the opportunity. But other people think that opportunity is sheer luck, with their hard work, knowledge and skill, opportunity will be waiting for them everywhere.

　　Although the attitudes towards opportunity are different, opportunity is important indeed, and no one should neglect. It can make a person successful. We should grasp every valuable opportunity and make good use of it, otherwise nothing can be left with us but regret and disappointment.

　　But I think it is not opportunity itself that decides a person's success or failure. It is fair to every person, I think. To grasp the opportunity, we need knowledge, skill and experience. In a word, opportunity is important but not decisive.
