　　3. ■143 Some people believe that students should be given one long vacation each year.　Others believe that students should have several short vacations throughout the year. Whichviewpoint do you agree with? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice. ★[2006.7.29]

　　无所谓选择哪一个立场。强调一个立场的种种理由的同时，不要忘了提及另外一个立场的些许好处。然后采用让步方式得出自己的结论。

　　143、应当给学生几个短假期

　　(1)给学生短假期，有助于学生休息。

　　(2)给学生短假期，学生们不至于忘掉以前的学习

　　(3)给学生短假期，学生们可以避免在旅游中的风险

　　I prefer to have several short vacations in a year. First, in this fast pace world, I think I need more　than once to rest. Having some short vacations will give me the chance to have several breaks and　keep me work efficiently and won’t be depressed by the high pressure. Secondly I think l need　have some back up breaks in case I have something emergency, or I fall sick someday. I can save　the vacations to the time I really need to leave work. Finally, short vacations can make me　accustom to work soon, long vacation probably will make me lazy and not willing to go back to　　work again. But short vacations will give good rest and won’t bring me that kind of trouble.
