　　我们再来看一道托福独立题：

　　Describe a time when you tried to do something that you had never done.。

　　同样我们先对话题做分解，根据以下几个问题来作答。

　　Sample answer:

　　Well, when it comes to something I had never done...All I canthink of was last summer when I did my first bungee jumping in Macao. Itraveled there with my friends and we were visiting the Macao Tower when wecame across this big bungee jumping sign. It took me a while to collect enoughcourage and finally make the decision to have a try because I was not anadventurous person at all. But I thought I should do something that could makeme proud of myself, so I gave it a shot. I was connected to a large elasticcord. After making sure everything was OK, I jumped off the platform. I thinkit was 200 or 300 meters high. The free falling lasted about 20 seconds but forme it was close to forever.

　　总而言之，托福口语要靠平时积累，绝不能在仅凭考前突击。只有打下扎实的基础加上有效的练习，才能在考试中“言之有物”。
