  1.amiable: (形)和蔼可亲的;温柔的lovable; good-natured; pleasant and agreeable(opp unpleasant)

  Charlotte is an amiable child; everybody loves her.

  莎勒特是个温柔的孩子;每个人都喜欢她。

  2.capture:(动)逮捕 (1).make a prisoner of; catch (by force, skill, or a trick)(opp release)

  The traitor was captured trying to escape from the country.

  Her beauty captured him and he swore to stay with her forever.

  4.cowardly: (形)胆小的without courage; faint-hearted(opp brave)

  5.feeble: (形)衰弱的weak; without strength; frail(opp robust)

  The old lady’s feeble hands could hardly hold a small cup.

  6.identical:(形)完全相同的 the same; exactly alike(opp different)

  It is the identical coat that I lost a month ago.

  7.perpetual: (形)永久的continuing forever; for an unlimited time(opp temporary)

  Bathing in the Fountain of Youth is supposed to assure perpetual beauty.

  沐浴于青春之泉被认为可以确保永久的青春。

  8.twilight: (名)黄昏the faint light of the sun remaining after the sun sets(opp dawn)

  The old man likes to take a walk in the twilight.

  9.unfair: (形)不公平的not fair or equitable; unjust(opp just)

  The spectators were disappointed at the unfair decision by the empire.

  观众对裁判不公平的判决感到失望。

  10.vacant: (形)空的empty; unoccupied(opp occupied)

  She had a few vacant rooms to rent for the students.

  她有一些空房子要租给学生。

  11.veracity: (名)诚实truthfulness (of a person) (opp falsehood)

  Since you have lied to us in the past, you should not wonder that we doubt your veracity.

  既然你过去曾经对我们说过谎,你就不应该惊异我们怀疑你的诚实。

  12.numb: (1).(形)麻木的;失去知觉的if a part of your body is numb, you cannot feel anything in it, for example because of cold

  I have just been to the dentist and my face is still numb.

  我刚刚去看了牙医,脸上现在还没有知觉呢。

  (2)(形)迟钝的;呆滞的.unable to feel, think or react in the normal way

  He felt numb with shock.他惊呆了。
