Well, I agree that it requires a good teacher to learn knowledge or skills.
First, a good teacher can cater to diverse needs of students. For example, in a math class, some students may struggle with basic concepts while others are ready to tackle advanced problems.


In that case, skilled teachers might offer additional support and resources, such as one-on-one tutoring sessions or customized practice problems for those who need extra help, while also provide challenging tasks for advanced learners to keep them engaged.


In addition, good teachers can provide emotional support. What I mean is that some students may think what they can’t do now will never be achieved in the future. Teachers could find ways to motivate them to face those obstacles.

Restrict Access to University Garden Professors in the botany department
conduct research on the plants and flowers that grow in the university botanical garden. However, it has become difficult for us to do this research, because students who visit the garden often pick the flowers and step on the plants. I think
the university should close the garden to students and other visitors and only allow researchers in the area.

This would ensure the protection of the plants and flowers so they can be used for research purposes. Also, there are a few parks located near town, not far from the university, so students would still have ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Reason 1: 太极端了；如果学校想保护这个地方，应该先告知学生需要保护的原因。比如应该让学生知道哪些 plants and flowers need to be protected, 因为很多学生可能都不知道这个 University Garden 里边在做 research。他认为如果学生知道 rules，是会遵守的。


Reason 2: 去周边的 parks 没这么容易，too far away to walk to. 而大多学生如果有没车，也没有公共交通也有，所以其实不应该把学校里面的这个地方 take away。

Lecture： Biology（生物学）

例子：教授用了 imitator frogs 的例子说明，这种青蛙其实本身就是有毒的，它本身就是有很亮的橙色和蓝色，但是它仍然会去模仿周围另外一种毒蛙的颜色。它们的颜色几乎是一模一样的，这种毒蛙全都是在皮肤当中有有毒物质，其他的天敌把它吃了会中毒。如果有蛇想捕捉它，接触到这种毒蛙，其实也会生病。而这种毒蛙在其他的地区就会模仿当地的一些其他的有毒的青蛙。

Lecture 题 材 ： Business lecture(商 业 类 )

主 题 : 2 negotiating approaches 当企业之间进行商务合作的时候，可能有不同的谈判的策略 。

第一种一谈判的策略是提更高的要求，把自己的利润给加到最大化，但是这种方式往往 带来的恶果就是谈判破裂。举的是一个出版社的例子，当出版社有一本书将来一定会大 卖的时候，它有可能会要求书店付一些预付款。这些预付款本身就能保证书获得很高的 利润，但是这也很有可能使得书店因为这些书而亏本。因此书店最后很有可能会拒绝卖这本书。


另外一种谈判的策略就是注重长期的合作。有可能在这一次合作当中，并不会获得很高 的利润。但是双方可以长期合作，保证都能获得利益。因此同样是这本书，如果出版商 和书店达成协议只需要书店相对较低的价格，那么双方就会长期合作 。
